Your Calling Compass

Find the life
that fits.

You already have a direction, even if it doesn’t have a job title yet. Take the quiz. We’ll draw what you love into a map, so you can see the place and the purpose where you belong.

About two minutes for a first map. You can leave and come back.

Why it exists

A place in the world starts with what you already love.

People come to Your Calling Compass when the week looks fine on paper and still feels like someone else’s. The quiz asks for the things you keep returning to: making, subjects, stories, movement, places, and the work you’re already in.

Those become a map. The clusters, the lines between them, and a short paragraph about the thread. The overlap is often where a life starts to fit.

A life that found its fit

Routes

A clear path

Some people want to see the way through: where one love meets the next, and what that crossing is for.

A woman on a coastal path above a harbor, looking toward the town as if she has come home.

Territory

Somewhere that is yours

Some people want the landscape: regions of a life, and the feeling of standing in a place that fits.

A young man standing among tall plants in a sunlit greenhouse, at home in the work.

What grew

From the early love

Some people want to see how it branched: what started when they were young, and what it became.

Four levels

The more you tell, the clearer the fit.

  1. 01

    What you love

Your name, and the interests you can say without performing.

    About two minutes
  2. 02

    The life around it

Stories, how you like to move, and the places that feel like yours.

    A few more minutes
  3. 03

    The work

The job or the study you’re in, and the skill you want anyway.

    A short sitting
  4. 04

The part you don’t put on a form

A room, an hour that isn’t graded, a year you would give yourself.

    As long as you like

After the map

Work that feels like you.

The free map names a few roles and a small project that sit where your interests meet. A longer look at the work, and a print you can live with, come when you’re ready.

For someone else

A gift, or two lives together.

You can keep notes for someone you love, or for the two of you. The picture waits until they have said it themselves.

Notes on finding a fit

All essays
  • Two maps on one table

A gift chart and a couples chart are easy to want and easy to get wrong. Consent is the whole craft.

  • A body in the room

Some callings are proprioceptive. The knowledge lives in timing, grip, and fatigue.

  • A through-line can stay humble

The paragraph under the map should sound like you on a good day, not like a brand workshop.
